13th Annual Fall Quilters' Retreat
October 4 - 6, 2010

It is time once again for some fall quilting fun!

What a great event we have planned for October 4 - 6, 2010. It is our 13th annual Fall Quilter’s Retreat.

This year we have one UFO workshop offered with Karen Phillips Shwallon. We will be having our retreat at a new location this year – Log Cabin Motel in Donegal, PA. Also note the dates are Monday, October 4 - Wednesday, Oct 6, 2010.

Arrival at the Motel will be Monday, October 4, 2009 at 8:30 am and at 9am you can immediately begin the workshop! Your rooms will be available for check in after lunch. Lunch will be at noon on the first day and dinner at 6 pm. Tuesday/Wednesday we will serve brunch about 10:30 am and dinner will be at approximately 6 pm (no dishes or clean-up)! Snacks will be offered throughout the day/evening. You may bring something for yourself if you prefer an early breakfast as a microwave and refrigerator is available.

In Karen’s class you will be working on your choice of projects from any of her designs you may have already started and want to finish or start a new project. Bring a UFO and get it well on the way to completion!

Join us for the entire event or become a “day camper” and choose the project Karen designed that interest you most and let’s stitch! To keep cost affordable, bring a few friends and stay overnight. Each room at the Log Cabin Motel has a TV and telephone. Some rooms have a private bathroom, one queen bed, or two double bed and also some bunk beds! Some rooms are across the parking lot from the meeting room and upstairs. The Motel surroundings are quiet and beautiful during October. Gift shop and petting zoo are also on the grounds.
